Use e-documents in the sales process

You can use configured electronic documents (e-documents) with the following sales documents:

  • Sales invoices
  • Sales credit memos
  • Service invoices
  • Service credit memos

E-documents in sales

To create and send an e-invoice to a customer, you must create and post the sales invoice. When the document sending profile is set up correctly, an e-document will be automatically created and sent.

Note
  • XPR365 Billit has added the Paid status to manage payment statuses from Billit. Updating this status can be done by performing the Get Approval action.
  • A fallback is available for entering the reference in Peppol documents. For each document, the fields are checked in the following order. The first field which is filled, is used as a reference for the Peppol document.

    • Sales invoice: Your reference > External document number > Order number > Posted Sales Invoice number.
    • Sales credit memo: Your reference > External document number > Return order number > Posted Sales Credit Memo number.
    • Service invoice: Your reference > External document number > Contract number (if contract) / Order number (if order) > Posted Service Invoice number.
    • Service credit memo: Your reference > External document number > Contract number > Posted Service Credit Memo number.
